A psychology appointment is 50 minutes long.

The clinic operates Tuesday 9am to 5pm (after hours appointments available).

  • For clients who receive funding for psychological services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): COG. neuropsychologists can provide services to clients whose funding is self-managed or plan-managed. They cannot provide services to clients whose funding is NDIA-managed. Please refer to our FAQs section for more information about NDIS clients.

  • In order to best assist with the request, please provide information on

    • Reason for appointments

    • Availability for appointments

    • Preferred frequency of sessions

    • Any relevant medical diagnoses

    • Referral letter (if applicable)

    • Funding (if applicable)

  • If you require documents such as a report or support letter, please be aware that there is a fee associated with these services. Please contact us to discuss your request and associated rates. Considering the time required to prepare these documents, please ensure to provide at least 14 days' advance notice when making such requests.

COG. neuropsychologists provide appointments exclusively through telehealth for your convenience and flexibility. This allows you to access support from your own space, on your own schedule.

Fees

  • Individual appointments are $250 per 50-minute session.

    Out of hours appointments will incur an additional fee but are available on request.

    A) If you have a Mental Health Care Plan and receive a rebate through Medicare, a portion of each psychology session fee is rebated (i.e. returned to you). Medicare provides rebates for up to 10 individual and 10 group sessions per calendar year. The rebate for a psychologist is currently set at $101.55 per individual session. Group session rebates vary depending on length of appointment, please contact COG. for more information.

    B) If your private health insurance includes 'extras,' you may be eligible for additional rebates. We advise contacting your private health insurance provider to inquire about your entitlements.

  • The clinicians understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you anticipate being delayed, please contact your neuropsychologist as soon as possible (info@cogroup.com.au).

    If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide a minimum of 2 business days notice (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends). Unless under exceptional circumstances, failing to cancel or reschedule within this timeframe will result in a cancellation fee (50% of session fee) as set out in the privacy statement and consent form.
